Iron sword blade, now detached, length 91cm (just over 36 inches). Length of tang to shoulder of blade, 11cm. Max. width of blade 5.2cm. Blade bent near point. Tip of tang i.e. pommel chipped off. Traces of wood on handle. Patchy remains of wooden sheath, with fibrous traces beneath.X-ray 3
