Iron spearhead, length 46.5cm. Long parallel-sided blade, with sloping concave shoulder (short), and short split socket with wood remains, transfixed by rivet. [...] Attributed by Roach Smith to Gilton grave 28. Spear well preserved and not at all 'sandy'. Check with original MS.
