Iron spearhead, length 44cm. Long angular (originally) peaked shouldered blade with edges tapering convexly to point (broken). Big split socket (separate piece). Very badly corroded and bubbly. Has textile remains on one surface of blade - rather a fine textile - and remains of a coarse textile on the socket and perhaps also on other side of blade (but indeterminate). From its condition, probably from Gilton.X-ray 77
