Iron shield-boss: diam. 16.5cm, height 7.8cm. Low conical dome with spike and small button on top; slight carination at sides above a sloping waist and broad flange 2.5cm wide. Originally five iron disc-headed rivets diam. 2.2cm around flange. Wood remains under flange, all with grain in one direction. Flange damaged, most recently.
