Shield-boss, height 6.5cm, diam. 15.2cm. Carinated boss with convex dome (stud or spike broken away from top) above slight carination above sloping waist and flange. Width of flange 1.8cm. Boss broken and part missing but 3 rivets survive, indicating 5 originally, disc-headed. Badly corroded and some trace of sandy accretion.
