Iron knife
Iron knife, length 15.7cm. Straight blade, with back making sharp change of angle towards point.SCH had originally placed this knife with unprovenanced objects. The gatty slip indicates that M 6312 comes from Kingston Down. Note that a different knife, Kn.U.6, was photographed at the National Museums Liverpool with a label identifying it as M 6312. This is probably incorrect and the label had been attached to the wrong object. The knife accessioned as Kn.U.6 is located with unprovenanced material. – D.H.
