This article analyses the elements of education systems, which include people acting in specific roles, like teachers, students, and parents; organisations, like schools and ministries; and things like classrooms and teaching materials, and explores the interactions among these elements while highlighting the importance of applying system thinking in order to address developing countries' learning crisis.
