Card 1: Silver gilt and garnet brooch, max. diam 1.9 cm. A square set with silver cloisons crossing diagonally, and with semicircular cells against sides, enclosed in silver-gilt collar with beaded silver wire at base. Backplate silver. Filling of brown paste and die-stamped chequered gold foil behind flat garnets. Pin missing. Only fragment of catchplate remains.Card 2: 2 circular fibulae, one of peculiar and archaic type.i. diam. 2.5cm, 2 cms of cross between garnets contain helmeted style I heads.ii. max. width 1.5cm. Damaged at back - silver back plate, frame. Cloisons silver gilt.
