Clifford Gough was in RAF ground crew during the Battle of Britain. Transferred to the Fleet Air Arm. Spent 4 years in Egypt. Was scathing about war medals - possibly never collected them. Had a photo album of his wartime trip to Lebanon and Palestine. Also a trip to see the Sphinx. Photos of German POWs, Rommel, and Churchill.

2. Jean Murray was aged 10 in 1939. Lived in Grass, Essex, near Tilbury Docks. Watched bombs falling on docks. Hated the smell of the shelter. Evacuated in 1939 to East Anglia by boat. Father decided they would actually be safer at home as billet was too close to an air base. Has a domestic science book with wartime recipes and hints from housekeeping.
3. Terence Gough. RAF VR was killed. Was a Sergeant Pilot.
