Gatty Slip: Glass bead found on Sibertswold or Barfriston Down, 1772-3. 5/8 in. diam. Inventorium Sepulchrale pl.5 fig. 9.Polychrome bead, diam. 1.5cm. A ring bead of brownish olive translucent glass, with marvered decoration consisting of 5 spiral motifs around the circumference - discontinuous - and made from composite trails striped spirally in blue and white. Inv. Sep. pl. v, no. 9 attributed to Sibertswold or Barfreston.
