Four ?amethyst beads

Fig. 14: 'A large glass bead of an amethyst colour'; Figs 15 and 16: 'Amethystine beads or pendants'.It seems that Edward Jacob of Faversham collected at least four amethyst beads, illustrated in Boys 1792, 864 pl. opp. Nos 7, 9, 11, 13. Three are shown in the manuscript SAL MS 99/III/22. Their shapes suggest that they represent three of the beads illustrated in Boys.
