Father (William Bradley) was killed in 1944 at the Battle of Arnhem. Jacqueline was 4 when her father enlisted, and 7 when he died. She remembers him coming home (1941?) and taking her to a shop 'W. H. Cullens' where he bought her a bag of 100s and 1000s. When he came home, he had oranges in his kit bag and gave them to the children in Harrow.

Bradley served in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, and then in Arnhem. He went there in a glider but was killed on the bridge by a sniper.

She met 3 members of the Airforce at the 50th anniversary who had known her father.
