My husband's grandparents lived above the YMCA in Coventry. When they got bombed they decided to move to Leamington.
My father lived in Worcester Park in London. He was a child during the war. A low-flying bomb exploded at the end of his road and the windows of his house blew out. The family moved to Kent with his mother's brother. A bomb landed in a playground.
