Evacuees in Autumn 1939

I lived in Folkestone, Kent just twenty odd miles from France. We had three small boys from London billeted with us as evacuees. With the Fall of France there was considerable panic to move the evacuees to a place of safety. As soon as that was achieved we ourselves were evacuated to Wales.
