<p dir="ltr">Ronald was evacuated from Bethnal Green to 'posh' farm in Castle Cary, Somerset. It was a very different world, and he moved to the farm labourer's family to stay. He didn't enjoy it and moved back to London.</p><p>Iris (Ronald's wife) was evacuated from Southern to Derbyshire - she enjoyed her time and sent letters home.</p>
