Greek version of the Martyrdom of Agatha (BHG 36, 37-37a, 37d)<br><br>We have not examined this text, nor compared it to stories of the martyrdom in other languages. It is believed to be based on a Martyrdom originally written in Latin (cf. <a href="https://oxford.figshare.com/articles/_/13812119">E01916</a>). <br><br>Note that translations of hagiographical literature into other ancient languages are not as a rule recorded in the Cult of Saints database, unless there is evidence to suggest that the translation dates from the 7th century or earlier.<br>
