SB 12 11014<br><br>The sender of the letter refers to his upcoming boat trip to the place of saint Phoibammon bringing with him either a female living saint or an icon.<br><br>Lines 1–4 of the remains of the letter read as follows:<br><br>καταξίωσον δὲ δέσποτα εὔξασθαι<br>ὑπὲρ ἐμοῦ ἐπειδὴ καταπλεῦσαι ἔχω<br>εἰς τὰ τοῦ ἁγίου ἄπα Φοιβάμμωνος μετὰ τῆς<br>κυρ\ί/ας μου τῆς ἁγίας Ἀμωνίας.<br><br>'Please my lord, pray for me as I am sailing down to the place of the holy Apa Phoibammon together with my lady, saint Amonia.'<br><br><br>(Text: S.
