E04561: Wall painting showing *Isidoros (soldier and martyr of Chios, S00425) with a label in Greek. Found in the church of Panagia Protothronos in Chalki, Naxos (Aegean Islands). Apparently late antique (7th c.?).

In his review of Georges Kiourtzian's study of the pre-7th c. Greek Christian inscriptions of the Cyclades, Phane Drossoyianni mentions an additional inscription, on a wall painting from the church of Panagia Protothronos in Chalki, on the island of Naxos.
The painting shows saint Isidoros and is labelled:
[Ἰ]σίδωρος/'Isidore'
