P.Oxy. 16 1934<br><br>This letter gives an extract from a receipt issued by a village scribe to the oikonomos of Kollouthos, and states that the scribe had omitted in his account the corn specified in the receipt; the recipient of the letter is therefore requested to send him to be interrogated.<br><br>Lines 4–5 read as follows:<br><br>π(αρὰ) Φοιβάμμωνος πρεσβ(υτέρου)<br>(καὶ) οἰκ(ονόμου) τοῦ ἁγ(ίου) Κολλούθου<br><br>'… (received) from Phoibammon, presbyter and oikonomos of saint Kollouthos …'<br><br><br>(Summary and text: B. The papyrus document, P.Cairo 10083, was found at Oxyrhynchos, and is now housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The dating of the text rests on palaeographical grounds.
