Dunkirk and Beyond: WWII Journey of Jack Bath

Jack joined the territorial army and was called up before the outbreak of WWII. Jack was posted in France and involved in the Dunkirk evacuation. He had to retreat from the location where he was camping due to shelling. His vehicle was destroyed, and he had to walk to Dunkirk. Jack was also stationed in Africa and in Italy. He was in the KOYLI battalion and in the 7th and 8th army.

Jack's son has brought in various documents and photos from and of his father.
