<p dir="ltr">48 Commando Squadron Z-Troop. <br>16th April 1941 - 5th April 1946, wounded in action - malaria 18th August 1944. Role cook in the Marines.<br>Created a list of places he visited and wrote them inside a cigarette case. <br>He went on the landing craft on the beaches. Looked for a building when landing in Lyon.<br>He stayed in Sallenelles in France. He bumped into his brother-in-law by complete accident when they were deployed separately.<br>Based in Plymouth - Eastney Barracks. - Graves end.<br>They gave forces guides when deployed.<br>Did not like to talk too much about the war, he lost a lot of friends. Quiet individual.</p>
