Crundale Grave 23

On the right hand of the last grave, and within about a foot of it we found another; it contained the skeleton of a full-grown person; the bones were very firm, as also were the teeth; they seemed to have been much ground down, and some were wanting; it lay at the depth of about three feet. We found nothing at all with it but the blade of a knife, as before. Here were no signs of a coffin.
