Medals of Corporal Thomas Mitchell Caldwell (the contributor's father-in-law's father), who was born 06/02/1918. Thomas was a farmer from New Cumnock, Ayrshire and enlisted on 26/02/1942 to the Royal Scots Fusiliers. Thomas was captured in Normandy on 5 July 1944 and taken to Stalag 12A and then 357 Fallingbost.
