Copper-alloy work box, with organic? contents

Bronze work-box, height 5.8cm. Body a cylinder of sheet metal, rolled overlapped and fastened by 4 bronze rivets. Base spread to take separate basal disc now lost. Lid has domed top, and separate side made of sheet metal overlapped and riveted, top spread to be soldered to cap. Bronze loop for suspension just below over hang - wire paper-clip type. Hole with iron stains suggests iron loop now broken on body below on line of seam. Decorated with lines of tiny repoussé dots, concentric on lid with cross at centre. No chain.Faussett notes it was full of organic remains - bottom lost on discovery.
