Bronze weight. Same number as Ozingell weights and in box with them but not recorded in Coll. Antq. III with rest.Check provenanceA thick cylindrical weight , diam. 2.4cm, thickness 8mm. One side bisected by line of lightly drilled and shallow dots, 10 of them. Weight: Ashmolean 36, 476.SCH originally placed this weight with the unknown provenance material. – D.H.The scales and weights M 6926.1-15 and probably also M6926.16 are stated to have been found by the side of a skeleton (Roach Smith 1854, 12-13). – B.B.
