Pair of bronze tweezers, l. 12.6cm. Very long stout tweezers with strong spring and narrow operative ends. Loop decorated with longitudinal grooves on top, and horizontal groups of grooves below. Decorated on the side by transverse groups of lines and by diagonal crosses, and on the other by facetted work closely resembling the ornament on late R.B. bracelets.Probably Roman?
