Bronze buckle and plate, length 6.7cm. D-shaped loop decorated with scored transverse grooves and circlets, tongue with transverse grooves and shield-shaped back decorated with circlets. Triangular plate made separately from loop and with thin sheet bronze backplate with traces of fine textile on it. The plate has a lobe at foot and smaller lobes at top sides, all notched around edge and pierced for rivets now missing. Edge decoration of small circlets.SCH originally placed this buckle with the Dis-associated material. – B.B.
