Copper-alloy shield-on-tongue buckle and plate

Bronze buckle and plate, length 5.7cm. Narrow oval loop with straight bar, and tongue with flat shield on back in lower plane. Triangular plate with two small and 1 large (at foot) domed studs with beaded wire collars, covering functional rivets which appear on underside. Plate made in one with shield-shaped tab which is bend over back. Plate decorated with lines of dots down sides, middle and across top. Tongue attached by bronze hook.
