Bronze pin, length 4.2cm. Flat, thick, disc-headed, rather oblate, above shaft of circular section. Tentative scratchy grooves below head; slight thickening in middle.The catalogue number M 6553 is used for copper-alloy pins in Graves 31 and 103 and bone? pin in Grave 172. – D.H.
