Copper-alloy mount with ?wood remains

Sheet bronze belt plate(?), length 2.4cm. Rectangle with rivet hole in each corner, and sub-rectangular hole in middle. When excavated it had a rivet in each corner, slightly under 1/4 inch long with wood apparently adhering to them.
