Copper-alloy gilt sword pommel

One of the three pommels given the accession number KAS 838 was originally assigned to this grave by SCH and incorrectly indicated in Maidstone Museum records. The KAS 838 pommel is now placed with dis-associated material. The footnote by T.G.F. in the grave description indicates that this is not the pommel found in this particular grave. – D.H. & B.B.
