Copper-alloy gilt lace tag

Rolled sheet bronze conical ferrule, length 2.8cm. Upper diam. 3mm. For all the world like a miniature spear ferrule, split sided, and with holes for a rivet at the top. Faussett thought it the ferrule for a bone pin, but the rivet somewhat against this. Ferrule of tiny wooden stick? Or very possibly a tag for a boot lace. No position mentioned.
