Mayer Card: Circular bronze brooch still bearing traces of enamel decoration. 2 1/4 inches diam.Note by T.D. Kendrick: enamel Roman period, possibly part of phalera. Not brooch, no pin or catch.[sketch]Gatty Slip indicates object originally from either Faussett or Rolfe collection. – D.H.
