Sheet bronze plate, max. diam. 5.8cm., roughly circular but irregular on one side partly through decay but partly because originally this side was shaped differently. Faussett sketches it with serrated edge here, and no rivet holes. 8 holes regularly placed around rest of rim - no rivets found at time, so perhaps holes for thread to sew thing to a garment.
