Brent 1866, 162: An obliterated coin, indented with a curious star-shaped pattern on one side, into which brass has apparently been inlaid. Weight 140 grains.19 weights - some probably coins from purse but most dotted as if multiple of weight, or ground and quartered.7. Obliterated coin. Star-shaped indentation apparently filled with brass. 140 grnsCatalogue number attributed to nineteen weights from an entry in the catalogue (Payne 1892a, 29). The same catalogue number is asigned to the bronze balance. – D.H.
