Brent 1866, 162: A coin obliterated by grinding down to the necessary weight. It is marked with five such indentations as in KAS 469 (2) Weight 248 grains.19 weights - some probably coins from purse but most dotted as if multiple of weight, or ground and quartered.4. Coin obliterated by grinding. 5 indentations. 248 grns.Catalogue number attributed to nineteen weights from an entry in the catalogue (Payne 1892a, 29). The same catalogue number is asigned to the bronze balance. – D.H.
