Gatty Slip: Small brass instrument, found at Gilton Town, Kent. Labelled \Ash 1760\". Formerly in the Faussett coll. Vide MS Inven. Sep. vol. 2 p. 56 [image]"Bronze chatelaine pendant, length with ring 3.5cm. A slightly smaller version of M 6030. Certainly from same set.If the label \Ash 1760\" is correct the pendant is likely to have come from one of the graves excavated that year that produced copper-alloy chatelaine pendants: 27 or 41. – D.H. & B.B."
