Gatty Slip: Small brass instrument, found at Gilton Town, Kent. Labelled \Ash 1760\". Formerly in the Faussett coll. Vide MS Inven. Sep. vol. 2 p. 56 [image]"Bronze chatelaine pendant with hammer terminal, length 3.5cm with ring. Similar to M 6030 and M 6212, but all punches are small circlets. Hammer head like that on M 6029, i.e. simpler sword-pommel shaped. If the label \Ash 1760\" is correct the pendant is likely to have come from one of the graves excavated that year that produced copper-alloy chatelaine pendants: 27 or 41. – D.H. & B.B."
