Gatty Slip: Small brass instrument, found at Gilton Town, Kent. Labelled \Ash 1760\". Formerly in the Faussett coll. Vide MS Inven. Sep. vol. 2 p. 56 [image]"Bronze spear-shaped chatelaine pendant, length with ring 3.5cm. Similar to M 6025 and M 6026, and presumably from same set, but with a line of punched circlets on both sides of blade. If the label \Ash 1760\" is correct the pendant is likely to have come from one of the graves excavated that year that produced copper-alloy chatelaine pendants: 27 or 41. – D.H. & B.B."
