Gatty Slip: Small brass instrument, found at Gilton Town, Kent. Formerly in the Faussett coll. Vide Inven. Sep. pl. 12 fig. 6 [image]Bronze chatelaine hanger with spear-shaped terminal, length with ring 3.6cm. Very similar to no. M 6025, and from same set, but spear decorated on one side only with row of 3 small circlets.The pendant is likely to have come from one of the graves that produced copper-alloy chatelaine pendants: 27, 41, 76, 81 or 87. – D.H. & B.B.
