online resource
posted on 2021-10-26, 19:41 authored by Helena HamerowHelena Hamerow
Bronze chatelaine suspender, length 2.8cm. Flattened barrel with hole through which once had an iron ring through, with pair of beak-like projections joined by two bronze rivets. Traces of iron in hole, but no iron around the riveted area. Found with several 'small bits of iron' presumably a chatelaine.
