Bronze buckle and plate, total length 2.8cm. Oval loop decorated with 3 groups of transverse grooves. No tongue. Rectangular bronze plate, ?gilt, made of sheet metal doubled over bar of loop, cut out to admit tongue (missing) and edges of loop for snug fit, decorated at base with 2 groups of transverse grooves, with rivets between them, 3 in number, 2 heads left, one entirely missing. Rest of plate covered with lightly scratched cross-hatching.
