Mayer card: Anglo-Saxon bronze dish, the bottom of it now separate, locality unknown and uncertain whether from Rolfe or Faussett Collections. It is exactly like the specimen engraved on pl. x of Akerman's 'Remains of Pagan Saxondom'.(SCH: this is a Coptic bowl with openwork footstand)11 1/2 in. diam. 2 handles.
