Copper-alloy arm? ring

online resource
posted on 2021-10-27, 19:22 authored by Helena HamerowHelena Hamerow
Neatly made bronze wire bracelet, max. diam. 6.25cm. Made of thick circular-sectioned wire, tapering at ends where knotted together into circle by the 'sliding knot' method; the terminals overlapped and then held together by 10 and 8 tight spiral twists respectively. Whether the bracelet ever really expandable not clear; now corroded into one piece. Probably, it is very small to go over a hand as it is now, and would stand enlargement.
