Bronze annular brooch, diam. 3.7cm, but rather oval. Flat ring with slight nick in one place where iron stains suggest an iron pin.Two objects joined (see Marion Cox's illustration). SCH originally placed this with the Dis-associated objects. Object bag at Maidstone Museum incorrectly lists it as KAS 305. – D.H.The grave description does not mention a copper-alloy ring but \two iron rings\". It seems quite possible that the 'brooch' was suspended from a belt and shows signs of wear. – B.B."
