Small bronze cylinder, diam. 1.3cm enclosing an iron rod surrounded by wood. At one side the iron rod makes a point that projects beyond cylinder, and here the edges of cylinder are hammered over as if to grip the bottom of the wood. Found near feet on right side. Either the ferrule of a narrow staff, or the remains of a cylindrical lock.
