Children of World War Two - Collected by Emsworth and District u3a, Hampshire

online resource
posted on 2024-06-05, 18:20 authored by Their Finest Hour Project Team

Over several months our u3a has collected together a series of documents from our members that were children in World War Two. There is a lot of variety in the stories and a great deal of social history.

We also held a "Childrens' Tea Party" for these members which we made as authentic as possible with a jeep, an air raid siren, music of the era and spam sandwiches!
