No tumulus. This grave, which was found by means of the probe, was very shallow. It contained the bones of a child, which were almost gone; no appearance of a coffin. At the feet was a small black urn of coarse earth [M 6780], capable of containing about a quarter of a pint. It was a little broken in getting it out.
