Charles William Lowe, Royal Artillery

Charles William Lowe served as a Sergeant with the Royal Horse Artillery during the Second World War. On the 2nd June 1941, he was awarded the Military Medal for the part he played in the defence of Torbruk, and later, on the 18th December 1941 he was Mentioned in Despatches

Sadly, he was killed in action during the Battle of El Alamein on the 25th October, 1942 and is buried in El Alamein War Cemetery.
