Elegant red earthenware vessel. Length approx. 30cm. Bottle-vase in fine pinky red ware, surface originally burnished. Everted neck, girth grooving on body, 4 bands of rouletted decoration consisting of alternating rows of small squares with intervening [...] within arch stamps.The accession number KAS 252 was matched to this vessel after Evison conducted her study of wheel-thrown vessels. – B.B.
